TRMTC Meetings

TRMTC members meet twice a year in person: once in the winter and once in early summer in conjunction with the National Transportation Stakeholders Forum (NTSF). Meetings provide an opportunity for participating tribes to interact with DOE headquarters senior-level staff; staff from other federal agencies, including the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT), the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), the U.S, Department of Homeland Security (DHS), state representatives, and other stakeholders involved in transporting radioactive materials, including spent nuclear fuel.
