The NRC Petition Rulemaking Change committee meets quarterly.

NRC Petition Rulemaking Change Committee

• Seeks to have the NRC consider tribal lands off reservation to be considered the same as on-reservation. 

• Seeks to have NRC drop the requirement that tribes must opt-in to be prenotified of shipments. The committee submitted a rulemaking request to NRC and NRC responded they would update this. 

Current members of the committee are Richard Arnold, Rob Burnside, and Heather Westra.
